News : Ex-nurse Emma’s a smooth operator

A FORMER military nurse has launched a new career – making Wigan’s women even more beautiful.
Emma Daly-Atkinson, a former
nurse in the RAF, has opened
1stcallaesthetics, in Library Street,
Wigan, specialising in non-surgical
cosmetic treatments such as B-tox,
dermal fillers, lip enhancements and
chemical peels.
Emma, who left the RAF two years to work for the NHS and them a private cosmetic company, said: “The non-surgical cosmetic treatments have previously only been available in Wigan via beauty salons who have rented a room to freelance practitioners for a couple of days each month.
“I personally conduct each treatment and am a specialist aesthetic nurse practitioner. I have trained to the highest standards available, have worked with some of the best practitioners in the business and have an extensive support network, including one of the top cosmetic consultants in the UK.”
Emma, 30, from Skelmersdale, works
alongside her sister Sarah, 26, who is
a nail technician
She added. “We take before and
after photos are taken for each client
and free follow-up treatments are
offered should the initial treatment
not produce the
agreed results.
“I think a lot of
people think
they have to
travel to a
large city
and it costs
a lot of
money for
these
treatments, but
when they realise
there is somewhere
down the road and
it’s affordable, they
are prepared to
give it a go.”
